Front Desk Clerk

 

Duties may include one or more of the following (other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide exceptional customer service, including but not limited to; Greet customers as they enter store; Assist customers, if necessary, in location of products; Process cashier transactions for store purchases
  • Responsible for accuracy in recording sales, money handling, recording charge transactions, and balancing cash drawer
  • Must follow all rules and policies outlined in the company's employee guidelines as well as all laws and regulations imposed by governing agencies
  • Must maintain safe work practice at all times

Other Job Functions

  • Perform various tasks in general housekeeping including but not limited to:
  • Sweep and mop floors; Wipe down counters; Face and dust products; Clean glass doors and displays; clean and disinfect restrooms; pick up loose trash/garbage; empty waste receptacles; Clean lot; Wash outside windows; Water planters; Refill paper products
  • Perform receiving procedures on vendor deliveries as directed by supervisor
  • Stock and re-stock merchandise as needed

Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint would be an asset
  • Any knowledge of appliances, electronics or small engine products would be an asset
  • Possession of basic math skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships, demonstrating cooperative behavior with customers, colleagues and supervisors at all times
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment. Requires multi-tasking and accuracy, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. Must be self-motivated.
  • May require working nights, weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts, determined by store needs and at the manager's discretion.

Appliance/Vacuum Technician

 

Duties may include one or more of the following (other duties may be assigned)

  • Efficiently diagnose and repair various appliances such as automatic washers, dryers, dishwashers, coffee machines, refrigerator systems, heating systems, fans, residential and commercial vacuums, shampooing systems, and just about any other appliance you may find in the home.
  • Efficiently diagnose and repair various tools such as table saws, chop/miter saws, drills, band saws, jigsaws, compressors, work lights and almost any other tool you might find in your garage or shop
  • Use electronic service order system to update service notes and request parts for repair.
  • Must follow all rules and policies outlined in the company's employee guidelines as well as all laws and regulations imposed by governing agencies
  • Must maintain safe work practice at all times

Small Equipment Technician

 

Duties may include one or more of the following (other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide accurate repair diagnostics and labor time estimates for various small engine equipment such as air compressors, log splitters, snow throwers, generators, pressure washers, lawn mowers, lawn tractors, snow machines, quads and other gas and electric equipment.
  • Create accurate and complete electronic service order reports via our service software system.
  • Must follow all rules and policies outlined in the company's employee guidelines as well as all laws and regulations imposed by governing agencies
  • Must maintain safe work practice at all times

Other Job Functions

  • Perform various tasks in general housekeeping including but not limited to:
  • Sweep and mop floors; Wipe down work areas; Clean shop tools and equipment; pick up loose trash/garbage; empty waste receptacles; Clean lot; Organize safe service order unit storage

Job Requirements

  • Briggs and Stratton MST Certification preferred but willing to train
  • Possession of basic math skills
